Objectionable Messages or Content, Removal of Messages
MBFC moderators are not legally responsible for any messages posted. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message public or private. Please forward any offensive private message sent to you from a MBFC member to a moderator or administrator for review.

The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of MBFC. Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact us immediately by email. We have the ability to remove objectionable messages and we will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time, if we determine, in our sole discretion, that removal is necessary.

MBFC reserves the right to delete any message for any reason whatsoever.

Forums Acceptable Use
You agree, through your use of the Discussion Forums, that you agree to the User Agreement and that you will not post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise unlawful or illegal.

You agree, through your use of the Discussion Forums, not to post any copyrighted material unless you have permission to do so or the copyright is owned by you or by MBFC. MBFC reserves the right to reveal your identity (or whatever we know about you) in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by you.

Forum Software
MBFC uses Simple Machines Message Board software. A PHP based message board software who’s home page is located at http://www.simplemachines.com

MBFC is not responsible for any programming errors within the software which may result in the loss of data. Although every effort will be made to insure your privacy.

MBFC is by no means responsible for any incidental or accidental security breaches either by software error or by chance that may result in miss use of your account or your personal information.

Member Account Deletion
Members of MBFC are allowed 1 (one) user account. MBFC reserves the right to delete your account(s) if you are found to be abusing this rule. MBFC reserves the right to delete any member account  with or without warning for any reason. Although MBFC does not arbitrarily delete member accounts, your account may be deleted for violations of these terms.

Messages and/or accounts may be deleted as a result of the following (this is a non-exclusive list.  The reasons named here are listed by way of example and not by way of limitation):

Profanity in subject lines or signatures, or profanity within messages deemed to be blatant as opposed to incidental

Spamming or any commercial solicitation without authorization.

Flaming other members with the apparent intent of inciting or perpetuating a conflict or argument.
 
Bombing forums or individual threads with repetitive, pointless posts.

Posting pornographic or otherwise objectionable material.

Impersonating other individuals or false representation.

Discussion of illegal activity, or posting links to other websites that deal with such activities.

Posts made under secondary user names or other aliases for the purpose to either supporting or belittling other readers.

Posts which are completely unrelated to the forum in which they are posted.

Excessive cross-posting (this is considered spam).

Posts which breach another member's privacy, i.e. containing phone numbers, addresses or other personal information.

The deliberate alteration of words with the intent of bypassing our profanity filter.
Using any method to bypass profanity filters or any rule contained here. This includes using Hackers spelling, or “Leet Speak” to bypass these filters, in use as a screen name or any other use of “Leet Speek”. 

Harassment and/or public or private disrespect of a forum moderator, administrator or another member. 

Using any login or screen name that resembles anyone involved with the show unless you are able to prove that you ARE that person. 

Using any login or screen name that included the name of any person/persons connected to the show or the show name itself - this includes any variation thereof.

Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT WILL MBFC BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGE WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES RELATING TO LOST REVENUES OR PROFITS, LOST DATA, WORK STOPPAGE, COMPUTER FAILURE OR MALFUNCTION) RESULTING FROM OR IN ANY WAY RELATED TO THE USE OF ANY MATERIALS POSTED ON OR MADE AVAILABLE IN THE DISCUSSION FORUMS OR ANY OTHER WEB SITE TO WHICH A LINK IS PROVIDED OR ON WHICH A LINK IS PROVIDED TO THESE DISCUSSION FORUMS, EVEN IF MYTHBUSTERSFANCLUB .COM HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES AND REGARDLESS OF THE LEGAL THEORY ON WHICH SUCH DAMAGES ARE BASED.
