Meet CeCe! Featured on "Old Dog/New Tricks" HI! I AM CURRENTLY BEING KENNELED BECAUSE THERE IS NO FOSTER HOME AVAILABLE. WOULD YOU LIKE ME TO STAY IN YOUR NORTHERN CALIFORNIA HOME UNTIL I'M ADOPTED? Cece is a beautiful and sweet Siberian Husky/Malamute mix, around 5 years old. This darling canine was featured recently on "Mythbusters" and proved that you CAN teach an old dog new tricks. Although she's a bit on the thin side, she has quite the appetite and will bulk up soon enough. Cece is great with other dogs and also does great around kids of all ages. However, homes with cats or other smaller animals might do well choosing another dog - she can be somewhat predatory, as can most of her breed. She loves attention but will not fight with the other dogs for it; instead she sits pretty and waits for someone to come pet/play with her. Once you pet her she will quickly roll on her back to show you that she LOVES belly rubs. She prefers to be inside the house but does not mind being outdoors. Her house manners are great. She knows basic commands and will do anything for a treat. It would be helpful if you have northern breed experience and understand the intelligence and behaviors such as tendencies to escape and run .
