The Myth:
You are in a plummeting elevator and if you jump at just the right time you can cheat death

Jamie finds an abandoned hotel to test the myth in. He and Kari scope out the hotel which is scheduled to be demolished. Jamie finds the Elevator to be in very poor repair and in need of a motor. They test it and find the elevator will move. Jamie thinks he can modify his 7-Up robot to work the elevator. Using the robot, they bring the elevator to the top floor. Adam rigs the elevator for its death plunge. Mean while Jamie and the build team work on measuring how fast they can jump They then build a pogo stick spring action Buster Launcher. Buster and the launcher get installed in the elevator. Using a wire about 6 feet shorter than the fall they rig the launcher to make Buster jump 6 feet before bottom. Now all is ready the team gets set to drop the elevator. Down it goes with Buster along for the ride. The release mechanism works and Buster Jumps at the last second. The elevator smashes into the floor. The Guys check the results. Buster has been smashed to pieces Will the build team be able to save Buster? Tune in next week and find out! Same Buster time! The guys travel to a vacuum cleaner specialist to get the motors and parts to build their levitation machines. Adam builds a blue UFO looking thing and then wipes out. He has basically built a hovercraft. Now, just having made a working machine id not enough for their dueling egos, so Adam challenges Jamie to a race.

The Set: The beach
Not happy with wimpy vacuum motors, Adam buys 180mph leaf blowers. Jamie blows most of his budget on a bright yellow surfboard and buys 4 cheap Blower motors
The Teams build there machines. Jamie shows off a bit skating by in 3 blower power. Adam's 3 lily pad contraption is a bit heavy, but floats. Jamie's surfboard seems to not only float, but is mobile.
We move out to the beach for the big race! Jamieís surfboard seems to eat the sand rather than float over it. Both teams resort to pushing their machines through the sand! Adam wins! When they have a rematch on solid ground, Jamie wins!
