In the second season, Jamie and Adam were joined by a number of new people, including the Build Team.  Scottie Chapman, Tory Belleci and Kari Byron are the perfect addition to the show!  Here’s their bios!

- Scottie Chapman -

Girl power x 3! Enter Scottie Chapman- former horse trainer, video-game tester and graveyard-plot telemarketer. Trained in welding, machining and metal fabrication, Scottie has been dubbed the Mythbusters' "Mistress of Metal". She has built, burnt and bashed everything from bridges and amusement-park rides to seaplanes and race cars.

And what Mythbusters Babe would be complete without a multi colored background? Scottie has worked in set-building, carpentry, model-making and architectural restoration; she's also taught high-school metal-fabrication and studied special-effects makeup. Her building talents have been used by San Francisco's famous industrial performance-art collective, Survival Research Laboratories. Pretty heavy stuff!

Scottie loves snowboarding, gardening, and tending her prized pet koi (a koi is a fish. yeh, i had to look it up too ;). She's also raised three orphaned baby squirrels, who come to visit her back yard every morning for breakfast.

She's played bass guitar for several underground punk/noise bands, and can also belly dance and fire dance - often at the same time! Another amazing chica!

Here’s REAL Girl Power!  Scottie Chapman and Christine Chamberlain are suited up and ready to roll! Scottie and Christine have be come good friends thanks to MythBusters! They enjoy making the show just as much as we enjoy watching it!

Thanks to Christine’s Mother for providing us with this cool picture!

- Tory Belleci -

*Whew*- for a minute I though the guys were outnumbered! Tory Belleci joins the crew, making it an even 3 and 3. When he first walked into Jamie Hyneman's workshop in 1994 as a film student fresh from San Francisco State University looking to get started in movie special effects, Jamie quickly put him to work as errand boy.

Very determined, Tory quickly learned all he could and climbed the ladder. Three years later he landed a job building models for the most recent Star Wars trilogy. The Federation battleships and podracers you see in The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones are examples of Tory's awesome work.

Some of his other work can be seen in the Matrix trilogy, Van Helsing, Peter Pan, Starship Troopers, Galaxy Quest and Bicentennial Man.

Tory also dabbles in film and TV- one of his short films has already appeared in the Slamdance film festival and on the Sci-Fi Channel.

Born in Monterey, Calif., next to the famous Pebble Beach golf course, Tory once shot a blistering 15 over par round of 87 there. Multi-talent rules the Mythbusters crew!

- Kari Byron -

More femme power joins the Mythbusters Team! While studying film and sculpture at San Francisco State University, Kari Byron's parents wondered what kind of job she'd actually end up with in the real world. She would be writing, directing and starring in B-level horror films one day; and sculpting intricate model dragons for Dungeons & Dragons fans the next- Making her one awesome chick!

After she graduated, Kari started out as an artist. She worked in sculpture and painting, and held successful exhibitions at some of San Francisco's leading galleries.

Sculpting led to model-making and toy-prototyping, which led her to a job with Jamie at M5 Industries. Enter- Mythbusters! Kari made her debut during the "Vacuum Toilet" episode. Jamie needed a 3-D scan of a person's backside, and Kari happened to be in the right place at the right time!

Aside from being an avid fencer and knife thrower, Kari has been chased by machine-gun-toting Egyptian police for painting a mural in Dahab, has trekked in the Himalayas, and has scuba-dived in most of the world oceans. Can someone say "amazing"?

- note -  These build team members will have their own biographies as soon as they are done. - Nor
